...probably what gets stamped on girls to mark them as having been chosen to be thrown to the tentacle pit. The guard comes, sorts out all the marked ones, chains them up, then serves them up, hahaha.

TR FTW: I think it may be a kind of "calling card" of the artist. I know I've seen this exact same symbol on the forehead of a woman in another picture.
